Manufacturing planning, BOMs, procurement, production scheduling and ERP integrations are custom scope—not assumed SERQ SaaS inclusions.
WHERE ELEVATOR OPERATIONS GET DISCONNECTED
The job changes hands.
The details should stay with it.
Build a clearer handoff between sales, installation, service coordinators and field technicians.
Sales promises do not reach the service team.
A quotation, warranty discussion and installation record can live in separate files.
Scope a handover workflow that passes approved site, customer and service details to the right team.
Multiple lifts make complaints hard to identify.
“The lift is not working” does not identify the tower, unit or previous visit.
Configure a site-and-unit identification workflow. A building → lift hierarchy and detailed equipment register are agreed during scoping.
Breakdown follow-ups become a chain of calls.
The coordinator needs to know who accepted the job and the latest visit status.
Use bookings, assignments, partner-app updates and configured notifications to keep the job visible.
AMC visits and renewals get missed.
A busy breakdown schedule can crowd out planned maintenance and follow-ups.
Keep AMC records, scheduled visits and renewal dates together. Contract-specific coverage and escalation rules require configuration or custom scope.
Parts used and billed do not match.
Components move between stock, technician and customer site while invoices are prepared separately.
Use inventory, rate cards and invoicing modules. Serial tracking, returns and advanced approval flows are scoped separately.
Repeat faults lack a useful history.
The next technician needs to know what happened on the last visit.
Keep job notes, work photos, parts and complaints connected to customer records; agree lift-level history requirements during setup.

LIFT & ELEVATOR SOFTWARE FAQ
Before you choose
your setup.
Tell us who sells, installs, dispatches and services. We’ll map the standard modules and the workflows that need custom development.
Who is this solution for?
SERQ can support elevator service agencies, maintenance teams and the service departments of lift manufacturers. Sales, installation, dealer-network and manufacturing handoffs are designed as additional workflows where required.
Can we manage AMC visits and breakdown jobs together?
Use bookings and AMC modules to organise planned maintenance and service requests. Contract coverage, visit rules and escalation requirements should be agreed during setup; availability depends on plan and scope.
Can one building have multiple lifts?
A customer → building → lift record structure is a useful configuration for this industry. Unit identifiers, equipment fields, site permissions and history links must be confirmed in the agreed configuration or custom scope.
Does SERQ include manufacturing ERP or production planning?
No standard manufacturing ERP, BOM, MRP or production scheduling capability is promised here. Codequery can scope custom development or an integration with your existing system for the agreed information and handoffs.
Can our dealers or service agencies receive assigned work?
Discuss your dealer or agency structure, territories, permissions, acceptance process and commercial rules. Multi-company routing, agency portals and settlement workflows require a scope review.
Can building managers use our own branded app?
A branded customer app can be included in the agreed white-label package or separately scoped. Site-level access, lift selection and custom request forms must be specified. The core SaaS offer includes the admin panel and partner app.
Does this provide remote lift monitoring or safety certification?
The illustrations show service coordination, not live lift control or fault telemetry. IoT monitoring, predictive diagnostics and statutory certification are not assumed inclusions. Qualified personnel remain responsible for inspections and safety decisions.
Can installation milestones and material challans be managed?
These are custom project-workflow requirements. Share your current process, forms, approvals and handover documents so Codequery can define deliverables and quote the work.
How should we prepare for a demo?
Bring your team structure, approximate service portfolio, AMC process, sample job sheet and any existing ERP or CRM requirements. Use redacted samples where possible so the discussion can focus on the workflow.
