THE GAPS BETWEEN BOOKING AND HANDOVER

Give every job an owner.
Give every update a place.

Customer requests live in too many places

Phone calls, messages and walk-ins make it difficult to track every open request.

How SERQ helps

Create a shared booking record with service details, customer contact and appointment information.

Technicians keep calling for job details

Unclear assignments and missing notes interrupt the team and the front desk.

How SERQ helps

Share assigned job details through the partner app and review service status in admin.

The repair needs more than the original estimate

Additional parts or labour make charges harder to explain.

How SERQ helps

Keep quotations and invoice items connected. Formal customer approvals and revised-estimate controls can be scoped.

Spare parts and billing drift apart

Stock usage and job charges may sit in different records.

How SERQ helps

Use supported inventory and invoicing modules. Vehicle-fitment catalogues and serialised parts require agreed scope.

Customers ask for the same status repeatedly

The office becomes the middleman for every progress update.

How SERQ helps

Configure supported WhatsApp and push events so customers and partners receive relevant updates.

Repeat service depends on someone remembering

Customer history and pending follow-ups are easy to lose after payment.

How SERQ helps

Use previous bookings and follow-up records. Mileage-based reminders and automated maintenance schedules require configuration or development.

FROM REQUEST TO REPEAT SERVICE

A clearer workflow
for the whole service journey.

01

Capture the booking

Record the service request, customer and visit preference. Define vehicle fields during setup.

02

Assign the job

Route work manually or through configured automatic assignment and partner alerts.

03

Inspect & quote

Record findings and prepare relevant service, labour and parts charges.

04

Complete the service

Keep operational progress, work notes and agreed completion evidence with the job.

05

Invoice & settle

Review the invoice, payment status and supported technician or partner earnings.

06

Follow up

Use customer service history to handle feedback, return visits and the next service conversation.

CUSTOMER + VEHICLE + SERVICE CONTEXT

The next visit
should start with context.

Give your team the customer’s service history and the information needed for the current job. Define a vehicle register when customers own multiple vehicles or your business serves fleets.

  • Customer, location and reported issue
  • Vehicle type and agreed make/model fields
  • Job notes, quotations and invoices
  • Previous work and return-visit references

The vehicle record shown is a proposed view. Registration/VIN mapping, odometer history, multiple-vehicle accounts and vehicle-specific maintenance rules require confirmed scope.

AUTOMOBILE SERVICE SOFTWARE FAQ

Questions before your demo.

Who is SERQ Automobile Service OS for?

Garages, independent workshops, car-wash and detailing businesses, mobile vehicle-service agencies and automobile service aggregators that need shared booking and field-team operations.

Can I manage both workshop and doorstep bookings?

A combined workflow can be scoped around service categories, customer locations, workshop appointments and assignments. Bay capacity, travel buffers and specialised calendar rules require confirmation.

Can I launch my own branded car-service app?

Yes. Customer app, partner app, admin and booking website can be included according to your white-label proposal. Base SaaS does not automatically include the customer app or website.

Can it manage spare parts and service invoices?

SERQ offers relevant inventory, rate-card, quotation and invoicing modules. Confirm your stock allocation and billing process; vehicle-fitment data, serialised components and supplier procurement require separate scope.

Does it include vehicle job cards and inspection checklists?

These should be defined for your operation. Share required fields, inspection items, attachments, work stages and approval rules so Codequery can confirm configuration or development needs.

Can customers approve repair estimates online?

Quotation and invoicing modules provide a foundation. Customer-facing approval, revised-estimate history and work-release rules need explicit confirmation in your scope.

Can I offer wash subscriptions or detailing packages?

Service packages can be discussed against your catalogue. Recurring billing, visit credits, validity, redemptions and cancellation rules require agreed configuration or custom development.

Can I manage fleets, multiple vehicles and business accounts?

A fleet workflow can be scoped around company accounts, vehicle records, approval rules, consolidated invoices and reports. Telematics or maintenance triggers are separate integrations.

Can it handle pickup/drop or roadside assistance?

These are custom operational workflows. Driver allocation, custody records, live availability and escalation requirements must be defined. Emergency dispatch or guaranteed arrival times are not assumed.

What should I prepare for the demo?

Share your business model, locations, service categories, team size and booking channels. Include workshop stages, parts handling, commission rules and any vehicle, fleet or integration requirements.
