Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling projects or services with CodeQuery. We understand that circumstances may change, and we aim to provide a fair and transparent cancellation process.

2. Cancellation by client

Clients may request to cancel a project at any time by providing written notice. The following terms apply:

  • Before project commencement: Full refund of advance payment (minus 10% administrative fee). No additional charges apply.
  • During project development: Payment required for all work completed up to the cancellation date. Partial deliverables will be provided for work completed. Any outstanding balance must be settled within 7 days.
  • After project completion: No cancellation possible once work is delivered and accepted. For ongoing services (maintenance, hosting), see subscription cancellation terms below.

3. Subscription and recurring services

For ongoing services such as maintenance, hosting, or digital marketing:

  • Monthly subscriptions: cancel with 15 days notice before the next billing cycle
  • Annual subscriptions: cancel with 30 days notice; no pro-rata refunds for remaining months
  • Services will continue until the end of the paid period
  • All data and access will be transferred to the client upon request

4. Cancellation by CodeQuery

CodeQuery reserves the right to cancel a project in the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment or significant payment delays
  • Client's failure to provide required materials or feedback for extended periods
  • Requests that violate our terms of service or ethical guidelines
  • Discovery of fraudulent or illegal activities

In such cases, we will provide reasonable notice and deliver any completed work after settling outstanding payments.

5. Project pause

  • Projects can be paused for up to 60 days
  • A holding fee may apply to reserve resources
  • Projects paused beyond 60 days will be subject to re-scoping
  • Original pricing may not be guaranteed upon resumption

6. How to cancel

  • Send a written cancellation request to contact@codequery.in
  • Include your project name, reason for cancellation, and preferred resolution
  • Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
  • Final settlement will be calculated and communicated within 5 business days
